70% Of Ground Beef In Supermarkets is ‘Pink Slime’
Pink Slime
Think you’re buying fresh ground beef at your local supermarket? Think again! Former United States Department of Agriculture scientist Gerald Zirnstein has recently blown the whistle on the beef. He knows that 70% of what you’re buying is referred to as Pink Slime which is beef trimmings that are ground up sprayed with ammonia to kill bacteria and then processed and added to the meat as a filler.
This Pink Slime was once only used in dog food and cooking oil but has now made it’s way to our stores in the food that we eat to save companies millions of dollars per year. Zirnstein had warned his bosses not to use this Pink Slime because it was economic fraud but they over ruled him USDA scientists said “It’s pink therefore it’s meat”. To top it off companies are’t even required to put it on the label!
Don’t believe me? Here’s a video!
