On March 15th in Montreal Canada, the annual March Against Police Brutality protesters were walking down the street in peaceful protests and police started using grenades on the crowd. I was on Facebook yesterday and several people had been posting that they or their kids were sick pretty much the past couple weeks. There was one friend that had a sick daughter who was also diagnosed with an ear infection. The mother of the child had been getting responses on things to do to treat the infection instead of using the antibiotics. She apparently picked one of the idea’s and went with it. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has recently released documents of their intent to scan facebook and twitter for certain keywords that will then go into a database to be marked as items of interest and then filtered through by analysts. This list is of massive proportion and Congress has approved it. Whether anyone wants to believe it or not this is real and anything you put on your timeline, friends posts, chats, or messages will now be scanned and possibly used against you or your friends. U.S. Officials said today that debri that has washed out to see from Japans tsunami that hit last year will soon be washing up on remote stretches of the Pacific Ocean off Hawaii.

A friend of mine on Facebook posted an interesting article about some of the ingredients that is being used in our food supply as additives to “enhance” flavoring. Here’s a video I that was recommended to me on youtube called Rocket Mass Heater. Basically it’s a method of building a sideways fire that is used to heat up your house or other building. These heaters are used completely underground or above ground enclosed in a mass of clay/rocks/bricks. In most cases it’s merely a cob construction around the heater. Anybody that has a compost pile or bin knows that basic stuff like leaves, sticks, apple cores, banana peels, and other plant type materials can be put in the pile but I bet a lot of you don’t know that there are tons of other normal household items that can be put in as well.
